World premiere for new Nimbus 27 Nova S HT

27 Nova S HT is putting in its maiden appearance at the Stockholm Boatshow. The Boat is a “hardtop” version of the award-winning 27 Nova S. S stands for sidewalk, which means a design for easy boarding and comfortable on-deck living combined with a generously proportioned cockpit and cabin.
The hardtop version is aimed primarily at boating people wishing to prolong the season or who appreciate protected and comfortable living aboard, no-matter the weather. On sunny days you just push back the large canvas roof . As well as the sidewalk, the boat features a large deck aft fitted flush with the bathing platform. This makes it easy to move about aboard and for convenient loading of the dingy and fishing gear.
A host of innovative solutions are included among this craft’s outstanding properties. The sidewalk concept provides exceptional space for a boat of this size. Although the Nova S HT is only 27 feet long, she will accommodate the whole family and their favourite pursuits ranging from marine sports and fishing to long, comfortable voyages. Plenty of stowage space and a layout to please the whole family are unusual features in a boat of this size. The large cabin is fitted out with a big V berth in the fore cabin with a creep-in berth to starboard aft. Plus a large head with lavatory and shower facilities. The berths are separated by a small wardrobe. And the dinette beneath the cockpit cover converts into yet another berth.
The cockpit is fitted out with a working galley with cooker, sink and fridge. To port, sofas surround a table, with another sofa fitted on the aft deck.
A canvas roof that can be pushed back quickly and easily, sporty and simple driving, sturdy rub rails and, not least important, a very thoughtful production process, all contribute to the outstanding properties of the new Nimbus 27 Nova S HT. Owners benefit from a light boat with less environmental impact and ideal for most activities at sea.
In 2009 the 27 Nova S was voted “Best Environmental Motorboat” by the Swedish Yachting Association environment committee, together with Sweboat and the Swedish Maritime Administration. The motivation being as follows:
‘ The Nimbus 27 Nova S has been voted the best environmental motorboat with sleeping accommodation for 2009 by the Swedish Yachting Association for providing user-friendly, environmentally suitable onboard functions, in a low-resistance hull built with low environmental impact.’
